We have five primary products and the Cobra® Spray System designed specifically for conveyor problems. They eliminate material slippage, belt glazing and ice from building up on the idler and prevent tracking problems due to ice accumulation. Developed in our state-of-the-art laboratory, they have been extensively used in the field over the past 30 years.

Ice Free Conveyor®
Ice Free Conveyor® is a diethylene and propylene glycol based winter agent that eliminates conveyor problems caused by snow, moisture, freezing and sub-zero temperatures.
IceFyghter D™
IceFyghter D™ is non-chloride, non-corrosive, diethylene based winter agent that eliminates material handling problems caused by ice glazing and fines build-up. It melts ice quickly and helps prevent ice from forming.
Enviro-MLT™
Enviro-MLT™ is potassium acetate that melts existing snow, ice and freezing frost from the surface of conveyor belts and prevents buildup. It will not damage or corrode conveyor equipment or conveyor belts and lasts longer than DEG/water and PG/water blends.
Liquid Ice-MLT™
Liquid Ice-MLT™ is a special blend of diethylene glycol and chlorides, which enhances ice melting, prevents ice build-up, and minimizes corrosion to equipment and crystallization in nozzles.
Grip®
Grip® is a polymer emulsion methanol used on worn belts and/or belts that are missing or lagging on the drive pulley. It is applied when the take up pulley cannot put enough tension on the belt because the belt is stretched, worn or spliced. Grip can also be applied to top cover to eliminate slides that are not ice related.
Cobra® Winter Anti-Icing Spray System
Cobra® is a proven and reliable winter spray system that prevents ice glazing on belts, ice build-up on pulleys and coal unloading problems. Cobra® Systems are suited to spray de-icing materials like Ice Free Conveyor® on top cover, bottom cover, and/or multiple belts with moving parts, to keep your operation running smoothly.
Midwest offers a Winter Storm Support Service to assist companies operational needs during severe winter storms. Our technicians can be dispatched to your site to prepare, monitor or maintain your Cobra® Winter Anti-Icing Systems. Service is available as seasonal support package or as needed.
