ICE FREE SCALE™
A specially formulated heavy liquid that is applied to platform edges, ground edges, levers, and other components to prevent freezing.
Ice Free Scale™ works four ways:
- Prevents the bonding action of ice from forming on parts treated.
- Activates to melt snow, creating a non-freezeable slush.
- Prevents snow and slush off of vehicles from freezing.
- Creates a unique lubricating effect.
Ice Free Scale™ winter operating agent is brush applied prior to ice buildup. It will remain in place and active as required. As the volume of snow and slush increases onto treated parts, Ice Free Scale™ will begin to be overpowered. It will continue to melt snow, and create a Non-Freezeable slush. When this slush is significant, sweep and retreat.
