IceFyghter D™...the Most Economical
Way to Keep Operating During
Harsh Winter Conditions!
Midwest Industrial Supply, Inc.’s IceFyghter D™ eliminates coal and material handling problems caused by ice glazing and fines build-up. These problems seriously complicate or prevent operations from functioning to their maximum capability. IceFyghter D™ can solve these problems, and it works in temperatures to below -41°F.
What is IceFyghter D™?
IceFyghter D™ is the most economical non-chloride-based belt de-icer available today! IceFyghter D™ was developed to eliminate conveyor problems caused by snow, moisture, freezing and sub-zero temperatures. It recognizes and deals with the specific nature and unique problems of your conveyor system. It saves motors from burning up and belts from tearing when the conveyors are started. IceFyghter D™ will eliminate ice from building up on the idler and will prevent tracking problems due to ice accumulation. It provides a better, faster labor-reduced conveyor maintenance operation. Most important, it will keep coal going up the conveyor instead of sliding down.

TECHNICAL DATA SHEET
Description
IceFyghter D™ is a multi-component, glycol based, liquid belt deicer and anti-icing agent. It eliminates coal and material handling problems caused by ice glazing and fines build-up on conveyor belts.
Applications
IceFyghter D™ can be sprayed on top of the conveyor belt to prevent ice glaze. Application of IceFyghter D™ to tail pulleys, the bottom cover, or trough idlers can prevent ice build-up caused by precipitation or moisture from the coal. IceFyghter D™ should be applied prior to shut-down to prevent ice formation. Application at start-up or during operation can speed removal of ice and prevent further accumulation.
