From permit issuance through post-construction practices, strict environmental regulations (NPDES, NEPA, Clean Water Act, Clean Air Act, etc.) mandate that developers, contractors and landowners implement Best Management Practices (BMPs) and Best Available Control Technologies (BACTs) to limit and control fugitive dust, erosion, stormwater runoff and their related health problems.
