Midwest Secures Two U.S. Patents for Soil Stabilization Dust & Control Technology
CANTON, OHIO – August 2006 – Midwest Industrial Supply Inc. announces its receipt of two patents[1], recently awarded by the United States Patent and Trademark Office, for its innovative technologies in the development of compounds and their use to produce a new category of soil stabilization and dust control products.
Historically, attempts have been made to use white oils and isoalkanes as dust suppressants. These efforts proved unsuccessful because of the relatively high cost and short-term effectiveness for dust control and soil stabilization. Midwest Industrial Supply discovered a way to maximize the effectiveness of synthetic isoalkanes as a dust control and soil stabilization agent by formulating them with select organic binders.
These state of the art formulations are used to manufacture the new category called “synthetic organic dust control”™, created by Midwest Industrial Supply, for soil stabilization and dust control products.
Midwest makes this technology available under the registered trademarks EnviroKleen, EK35, Diamond Dr. and Arena Rx, all of which are environmentally safe.
