You are constantly faced with the challenges of maintaining construction site surfaces. Wash boarding, rutting and potholes on construction haul roads, unpaved roadways and construction yards can significantly increase maintenance costs as well as lowering on-site productivity. In fact, unchecked dust and unstable soil conditions can hurt almost every aspect of construction operations – from unsafe traffic areas to unstable earthmoving operation to ineffective maintenance of undisturbed areas like building pads, pre-landscaped fairways and vacant lots.

Stabilizing open areas, construction haul roads, slopes and stockpiles can significantly decrease grading, aggregate loss, maintenance blading and their associated costs. Midwest can help you deal with these issues by offering a complete line of products and services for soil stabilization of construction haul roads, building pads, slopes, stockpiles and other open areas. Each product was developed to be environmentally safe and provide superior performance. They have also been extensively tested in the field, in our state-of-the-art laboratory and by independent organizations.

Soil-Sement®
A polymer emulsion blend. It is a milky-white liquid that requires dilution with water to aid in penetration into the surface and it obtain optimum moisture for maximum compaction. Soil-Sement® “cures” upon the evaporation of the water and dries clear. It is considered non-hazardous per OSHA and EPA definitions. It is particularly effective for environmentally sensitive areas or areas where natural aesthetics are required.

Road Oyl®
A patented resin-modified emulsion that provides a cold applied high performance treatment for bare earth or unpaved roads. Formulated from tree resin ingredients, this state-of-the-art, non-ionic emulsion technology is unique in its high bonding strength and is appropriate for use even in close proximity to wetland areas and other areas of environmental sensitivity. Road Oyl® provides the clean, high performance technology needed for any type of project requiring dust control and soil stabilization.

Resinpave™
A process of stabilizing base soils, using native aggregate material, to provide a higher load bearing capacity so that the surface can with stand heavy traffic stresses and weathering with a durable, asphalt-like surface. This process utilizes Road Oyl®, Samitron installation controls and engineering design practices to give you an engineered base as tough as concrete.

EnviroKleen®
Synthetic Organic Dust Control™ that is clear to slightly tinted upon application and will usually make the soil appear darker. It is considered non-hazardous, colorless, and odorless and will not trigger reporting requirements when used properly for NPDES regulations, nor will it create oil-sheen. Does not require dilution with water.

EK35®
Formulated with the same Synthetic Organic Dust Control™ as EnviroKleen®, but is modified with naturally-occurring resins that work to agglomerate fine silt or clay particles making them larger so they cannot become airborne. EK35® is particularly well suited for applications with heavy equipment or where there is carry-over and spillage. The natural penetration and action of the traffic “work” the EK35® into the surface.

Road-Bldr®
Another process of stabilizing base soils, using native soils, to provide a higher load bearing capacity so that the surface can with stand heavy traffic stresses and weathering. This process utilizes Soil-Sement® Engineered Formula, Samitron installation controls and engineering design practices to give you an engineered base as tough as concrete.

Midwest also understands that managing a program in-house can be extremely difficult. And outsourcing is not necessarily easy. We have the programs that provide either Turnkey Application Services of fugitive dust control products or a guaranteed Dust Control Service Program of monitoring and maintaining the prescribed level of dust control.
