Prevent Coal and Other Materials from Freezing to Railcar Interiors, Truck Beds, Chutes, Hoppers and Feeders B-Free® side release agent has many outstanding performance characteristics. It will prevent the bonding action of ice from forming between the coal and the car skin, truck bed, or other treated surface. B-Free® side release agent also speeds thawing efforts since it does not act as an insulator like ice, but warms immediately and conducts the heat applied to the car skin through the coal mass. In addition, it provides lubricity between expanded, wedged coal and corners and crevices. It prevents expanded coal in hoppers from acting as "one unit" which resists shakers, etc. B-Free® side release agent is applied at the rate of 3 to 7 gallons per 100 ton railcar, depending on moisture content, duration of transport, temperature, etc. Application equipment especially designed to automatically treat the inside of each car is available for permanent installations. A simple spray bar suspended across the top of the cars or a hand-held spray gun is suitable for trials and initial evaluations. B-Free® side release agent applied to truck beds would require 1 to 3 gallons depending on moisture content, duration of transport temperature, etc.

Apply B-Free® side release agent to chutes, bins, hoppers, bucket conveyors, truck beds, discharge doors, rail car interiors, intake shaft walls, elevator cables, turn heads& overhead crane track. B-Free® is also effective on aggregates, sand and agricultural lime. Not recommended for animal feed or any product that is to be processed into food.
