EnviroKleen® is the world's first Synthetic Organic Dust Control® product. Created in our laboratory and unique to the industry, EnviroKleen’s binder system captures dust and fines and keeps them locked into the surface, preventing fugitive dust and fines from escaping.

EnviroKleen’s synthetic fluid and polymeric binder interlocks and durably binds surface aggregate and fines together through both cohesive and adhesive mechanisms. As fines are generated over time from heavy traffic, they are captured, preventing them from escaping as dust.

Dust degrades your unpaved road, runway or pad surface, while presenting a health hazard to people and the environment. Traditional dust control measures only make things worse: watering only hastens the destruction of your road surface while increasing your maintenance costs. And chlorides and oil-based products are temporary and can be harmful to the environment.

Midwest’s Soil-Sement® family of polymer emulsions for dust control, erosion control and soil stabilization boasts more certifications and verifications for environmental safety and performance effectiveness than any other polymer emulsion.

Earth Armour® quickly penetrates dust and remains actively effective on clay, sand, gravel, limestone and most native soils regardless of the weather or how severe the traffic. As fines are generated, they are captured, preventing them from escaping as dust. Earth Armour is cost-effective for controlling PM10 and PM2.5 from open fugitive dust sources, and unlike other available products, it will not track onto public roadways or stick to vehicles. It provides longer-lasting performance and requires fewer applications than other dust control and surface stabilization methods – regardless of season.

Road Pro® NT is a polymer-modified asphalt emulsion that stands up to the sun, wind, weather and traffic-loading better than a typical asphalt emulsion over both the short and long term. It is the perfect alternative to an ordinary asphalt emulsion that will not only improve road performance, but reduce your life cycle costs in the process.

Midwest’s proprietary, advanced MineKleen® formulations are specific to underground use, carefully crafted to dramatically reduce dust. MineKleen® Plus is the optimal recommendation, due to an exclusive binder system to improve service life and reduce applications by as much as half compared to our original, Basic formulation. This stabilization advantage is possible because it delivers both an adhesive (a force of attraction between different kinds of molecules) and a cohesive (with the same types of molecules) dust-binding mechanism.

Midwest’s proprietary, advanced MineKleen® formulations (Basic and Plus) are specific to underground use, carefully crafted to dramatically reduce dust. While MineKleen® Basic does not feature the binder system, it represents an economical alternative for those who want to see for themselves the effectiveness of using the MineKleen® system at a more limited initial investment. Both MineKleen® formulations are environmentally safe and ready to spray.

Long-term stabilization is possible, even while reducing construction time, materials and maintenance the natural way.

Moisture is the enemy. It weakens and breaks apart clay and silt road foundations. Midwest NaturalPave Intresoil® is the antidote. It increases bearing and shear strength, stabilizing the problematic material (which means the thickness of the treated layer or overlying pavement layers can be reduced). Best yet, Intresoil is a permanent treatment that will not leach out.

Dust-Buster is Midwest’s family of industrial dust control foaming agents. The foaming agents mix with water to suppress concrete, cement, coal and aggregate dust across a range of industrial applications to keep your material handling operations running smoothly.

So-Long is a polymer based emulsion, in an easy to apply liquid form, which provides both short and long term dust suppression. It is used where PM10 and TSP must be suppressed at the source and maintained for downstream effectiveness as bulk materials such as coal, coke, limestone, sand, cement clinker, railroad ballast and sinter are loaded, unloaded, stockpiled and reclaimed.

SoKleen synthetic organic residual dust control agent stops the harmful effects of inhaled airborne dust that occur when silica sand and other materials are transported on belts or dumped from trucks or transfer points. A single ounce of SoKleen eliminates dust from 50 pounds of sand. It remains active not only on sand but also on clay, gravel, limestone, mixed aggregates and most native soils, regardless of the weather. It prevents the creation of additional harmful dust, and is ideal for indoor or outdoor applications.

Midwest’s CCT Coal Car Topper® has proven to be the most reliable and consistent dust-control car topper for coal in transport. It is one of fewer than a handful of approved BNSF vendors.

CCT Coal Car Topper® — part of the Soil-Sement family of polymer emulsions — penetrates into and seals coal surface to prevent coal dust from escaping from in-transit coal trains.

Newtrol is a high-performance, glycerin-based dust suppressant with humectant and binding characteristics that make it effective for long-term dust suppression at a very attractive price. Formulated with renewable resources enhanced to maintain long-term dust suppression, Newtrol agglomerates loose particles and holds moisture on the surface thereby reducing dust on roads and open areas. Newtrol-treated roads stand up to heavy traffic and reduce the need for frequent road repairs. Newtrol is ideal for sensitive environments and is a clean alternative to chlorides.

Soil Sement EU (Enhanced Usability) is an environmentally safe additive that is used in conjunction with Soil Sement Engineered Formula as a two-part stabilization system. SSEU is used to accelerate the curing process of Soil Sement Engineered Formula, increase the bearing capacity of marginal soils and enable a faster return to service and usability of the road, runway or other unpaved area. It is effective within limited time constraints and when conditions include freezing temperatures or excessive moisture content.
